Getting to Bali & Travel Requirements
Before traveling to Bali for our wedding, please review the current visa requirements, health app instructions, and tourist levies.
Visa & Inoculations
- Visitor Visa on Arrival (VOA): Approximately $50 AUD per person (including children). Officially this is IDR 500,000. Exchange rates can vary.
- Check the Official Advisory: Smartraveller – Indonesia for updates on vaccination & entry rules.
SATUSEHAT Health Pass
Indonesia’s free SATUSEHAT app may be required. You can:
- Register before arrival, or complete it upon landing at the airport.
Customs Declaration
You can submit your customs form online (within 3 days before arrival): ecd.beacukai.go.id . We recommend doing it before you depart.
Tourist Levy
- Bali periodically discusses a tourist tax levy—often quoted around $15 AUD. The exact policy (“lovebali”) can change. We’ll keep you posted if it becomes mandatory.
